Hello and welcome!!
My name is Andrea. I love cooking almost as much as I love eating. I love sunshine and flowers and wine. I love to read, and I collect old currency. I like growing vegetables in the summer, and making hearty stews in the winter. I am rarely found without my camera. I read labels and try not to buy processed foods. I make my own cleaners and beauty products, and try to be frugal.
I have two loves of my life: my 5-year-old daughter, Elle, and my baby boy, Jude. They inspire me to try my hardest every single day. They are the reason why I created this blog… to reduce toxic chemicals in the food they eat and in our environment, so their little bodies can stay healthy and thrive.

During the day time, I work in education and finance. At night, I spend time with my kiddos, make dinner, give baths, and indulge in my shows (although, Grey’s Anatomy is now on my soon-to-be-cut list, due to their recent decision to kick of McDreamy).
On my blog, you will find homemade real-food recipes, homemade beauty products, healthy household cleaners, and a few odds and ends. I have a bachelor’s degree in Business, am currently working on my master’s degree, and have worked over 11 years in finance, so I like to share helpful financial tips on my blog.
Today, I work on learning as much as I can to live a healthy lifestyle. I am not yet where I want to be, and still have leaps and bounds to get there, but am taking it one step at a time (and sharing my experiences here!).
