Ecocentric Mom provided me with a free sample of this product to review, and I was under no obligation to review it if I so chose. Nor was I under any obligation to write a positive review in return for the free product.
About Ecocentric Mom
Ecocentric Mom is my favorite subscription box for moms who are conscientious about what goes onto and into their bodies. You may not think about it, but chemicals are found in many products, including lotions, facial creams, and perfumes. It is hard to know where to start when looking for organic and healthy beauty and home products, but Ecocentric Mom is a great resource. They have already researched companies, and put together a box full of goodies to try!
They offer three different box options: Moms, Moms-to-Be and Mom & Baby Box. Each box is filled with new and healthy products to try, from eye liner to intensive skin serums! If you have been wanting to transition to or are looking for healthier alternatives, this is a great way to try out and explore new products, at an affordable price!
Here is what this month’s Mom Box included!
Retail value $3.99. One towel included, plus an exclusive promo code for 10% off
Reusable paper towels are great for the environment, and a good way to save money! Logo a Go Go has made an on-the-go alternative to paper towels. They’re made with 100% organic Fair Trade Cotton, and are perfect to pack in lunchboxes, keep in the car, or toss into a diaper bag.
15ml moisturizer retails for $45, 5ml included, along with a 20% off promo code
I love moisturizers and skin serums, but I rarely use them, because they’re frequently made with so many chemicals. Silk Therapeutics has developed skincare products that are free of harsh preservatives and harmful chemicals. Silk Nourishing Moisturizer is liquid silk blended with hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and vitamin e. It helps diminish the signs of aging while nourishing and moisturizing the skin.
Retail $4.99, included
I can be pretty picky with my lip balms, but this one is fantastic. It’s ingredients are organic and Fair Trade Certified, sourced from small scale farming cooperatives, so you can feel good about where it came from! It is moisturizing and feels great on the lips. For every purchase you make, you are helping fund a cleft lip surgery. A company that uses ethically-sourced, good-for-you ingredients that is also charitable is an organization I love to support!
$8.99 for 8 oz, 2oz included plus a 20% off promo code
Hemp hearts are a great addition to salads, cereals, baking or yogurt, and they provide a great source of Protein, Fiber, Manganese, Magnesium and Phosphorus. These non-gmo hemp hearts are made by Manitoba Harvest, who is the largest hemp food manufacturer. They are passionate about health and wellness, and strive to foster positive change in communities and the environment.
$26 for 3.5 oz, .5 oz included plus a 15% off promo code
Ellovi is a company passionate about creating skincare products that are sans chemicals, parabens and preservatives, so you can ensure your skin doesn’t soak up anything it doesn’t need! Their mint chocolate butter minis smells good enough to eat, and the 6 ingredients that goes into this body butter are wildly harvested and pure enough that you could eat them (although, I think you’d enjoy it more as a moisturizer!).
I love this body butter. It’s deliciously scented and ultra-hydrating.
$17.95, full size included
EccoBella is passionate about being cruelty-free, that’s why the founder created this company. EccoBella products are made with plant-based “nutruaceuticals”, so your makeup can “better your beauty”. The eyeliner included contains flower-wax-enriched formulas to help keep the skin moisturized. This eyeliner goes on smooth and lasts all day!
$4.99 for a 5 oz resalable bag, 1 oz included
I am always a huge fan of getting food in Ecocentric Mom boxes (and they don’t disappoint!). These Mega delicious and ultra nutritious smart cookies are so tasty, you don’t know that they’re filled with wholesome nutrients. Sure, they may be made with kids in mind, but moms need snacks too! Made with organic fruits and veggies, these delicious cookies come in the shape of the alphabet, so you can turn snack time into a teaching moment!
This month’s box was full of some wonderful goodies to try, and some great discounts!
