My oldest daughter, Elle, is in kindergarten this year, and I adore her teacher and teaching assistant. They spend almost as much awake time with my daughter as I do, and have spent the last four months teaching her how to read, write, and do basic math. They create an encouraging and supportive environment for her to thrive in, and I am so appreciative of their work!
I wanted to show my appreciation and give them a Christmas gift, and I thought that a movie themed gift basket would be a great idea for a teacher’s gift!
I decided to include some edible goodies and a free movie rental in my movie themed gift baskets. For the free rental, I got a Redbox e-gift card promo code bundles, because it is a great way to gift movies or games to a lot of people, for as low as $1.50 a person. They’re great for everyone on your shopping list, from your babysitters to your children’s teachers! I even kept one of the codes for myself to rent Jurassic World 🙂
Redbox promo codes can be used for 1-day rentals on games and movies, and are easy to redeem at any Redbox. You can also use the promo codes to make reservations online. These gift codes never expire, so you don’t have to worry about that!
If you want to create a movie themed gift basket for the teachers, co-workers- friends or family members on your shopping list, here is how to do it.
Movie Themed Gift Basket
For this movie themed gift basket, you will need:
- A tin pail, or any type of container
- A Redbox gift code for a free movie rental
- Homemade hot cocoa mix (recipe to follow)
- Pint-sized mason jars
- Chocolate candy
I created these fun printables (click on the image below to download a free printable) to attach to the outside of the container. On it, you can write the recipient’s name, your name, and include a Redbox gift code for a free movie rental!
Homemade Hot Cocoa Mix & Printables
To make one pint of hot cocoa mix, combine:
- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
- A dash of salt
Stir ingredients together, until well mixed, and transfer to a clean mason jar, and secure with a lid. I attached these hot cocoa instructions (click on the image below to download a free printable) to the outside of the jar.
These movie themed gift baskets are an easy and inexpensive way to give gifts to everyone you appreciate this year! Everyone loves movies and snacks, and when you give Redbox gift codes, you know your recipient will be able to find a movie they love. Redbox has more kiosks in the U.S. than Starbucks and McDonald’s combined!
