I have been a fan of clean eating and healthy foods for a long time now, and usually hear about successful companies coming out with exciting products and services related to healthy eating. About a month ago, I heard about Personal Trainer Food, and was really intrigued with their concept! I had the opportunity to try out their month-long meal plan, and wanted to share my experience during the first week on their program!

Personal Trainer Food Review – Week 1 Update
I received a huge box of healthy food from Personal Trainer Food – enough for 28 days! My box included:
- 28 Breakfasts
- 56 Entrees
- 56 Vegetables
Just look how full my fridge was!
My initial thought was how much variety there was, and that the meals were all foods I actually enjoy eating. It even came with 6 bottles of butter sauces to help flavor the meals, while still sticking to the program.
Thoughts – Week 1 Personal Trainer Food
So, I will disclose that I am not a huge fan of prepackaged frozen dinners that tend to be flavorless and not-at-all fresh. I am a self-proclaimed foodie, and love well-seasoned proteins, vibrant vegetables and food that tastes good! Luckily for me – Personal Trainer Food didn’t disappoint!
My first comment on the Personal Trainer Food meal plan is that the food is really delicious! The breakfasts are comprised of eggs and sausage or bacon, and they have the perfect seasoning and texture. It is also filling, so I can make it until lunch without feeling hungry.
For lunch and dinner, my plan comprises of having an entree paired with a vegetable – and there is a HUGE variety, so I never get tired of eating the same thing.
The veggies and entrees come in pouches that can be steamed in the microwave, which is incredibly convenient for the working adult. You can just add them to your lunch box and head out the door! No more temptation of eating out on your lunch break, when you have a quick and delicious meal waiting in your lunch box.
Around day 3, I started missing cooking dinner (because I really enjoy cooking), so I poured a little bit of the garlic butter into a saute pan, and sauteed the veggies and entree. It was delicious!
Week 1 went great! I looked forward to each meal, and didn’t feel like I was dieting or deprived in anyway. I felt great knowing I was making consistently healthy choices for every meal, and was amazed at how easy it was.
My Stats – Week 1
Since this is a weight loss program, I wanted to share my progress through the next month! I’ll also share a picture of me at the beginning of the program. Then I’ll share an ending picture, to see the progress I’ve made during the 28 days!
Day 1 BMI – 25.7%
Day 8 BMI – 25.1%
Pounds lost – 3.6
