Any parent can attest to how chaotic mornings can be with children. Some kids are super early risers and are up before you want them to be. Other kids require a lot of coaxing to leave their bed. They need to be fed breakfast, lunches need to be packed, and if you’re like me, you may have to tell your child no to 5 different outfits, before your child finds something suitable for school. It doesn’t seem to matter how early I wake in the morning, my mornings are complete chaos!
I know that you may sometimes forget about or not have time to make breakfast for yourself. Once a week, I fly out the door and make it to work only to realize I haven’t eaten, or packed breakfast.
To help myself, and busy parents like you, I have compiled a list of quick easy breakfast ideas for working (or stay-at-home) parents.
Quick Easy Breakfast Ideas for Working Parents
One of my favorite quick easy breakfast ideas is to pour 8 oz of juice drink in a travel mug, and drink it on my way to work. I am currently obsessed with V8®’s new Veggie Blends: Berry Bliss and Caribbean Greens. Having a daily glass of V8® Caribbean Green is a convenient way to enjoy 1 full serving of vegetables in a delicious drink. When I pick up myV8® Caribbean Green juice drink from Walmart, it is an affordable breakfast option, too!
My veggie-loathing 6-year-old even loves V8® Veggie Blends, and I feel great about choosing V8® for her, because it is made with 75% juice, 25% pure water, and has no artificial ingredients or preservatives.

Prep in Bulk on the Weekends Before Breakfast Ideas
One of the easiest ways to grab breakfast in the morning is to prep on the weekend, so I have food ready to go during the week.

- Banana, Peanut Butter and Coconut Oil bread
- Homemade Muesli
- Cranberry Orange Muffins
While we’re talking about quick easy breakfast ideas, I also want to share that I pick up my quick easy breakfast idea ingredients at Walmart, so I can get the greatest prices in town! I also love that it is a one-stop shopping store, so I can pick up all of my household supplies at the same time (because when you’re a parent, weekends are busy, too!).
