Roswell New Mexico – Your One-Stop-Town for Everything Alien:

This is off topic from my usual content, but I wanted to share some photos I took while I was in Roswell New Mexico a few weeks ago.

As you probably know, thanks to multiple Hollywood movies, there was a rumored Alien crash in Roswell New Mexico in 1947.  It *kind of* put New Mexico on the map.  Supposedly, an unidentified flying object crashed near Roswell, and it contained extraterrestrial life.  Is it true? I’ll leave that for you to decide. But the Universe is awfully big to only hold life on one small planet.

If you’ve ever wanted to visit the crash site of a UFO, Roswell is a great place to go. The city is chock-full of alien figurines and propaganda.  And I’m happy to share some with you!

Many of the local shops have window settings adorning various alien scenes.  Here, we have some boozing aliens that are enjoying a casual game of cards.

There are a couple museums and shops with alien displays that you can walk through, which showcase the alien’s many talents.

Writing, for example:

And bottling human heads (which is quite a talent, I admit):

After all the novel-writing and head bottling, it is understandable that they would want to kick their feet up and grab a coke.

If you are looking for some souvenirs to take home, you wouldn’t have to look far.  They have alien snacks:

Alien keychains, coffee cups, magnets, gumball dispensers, and shot glasses.
Alien Gear

And if you have been wondering if they have an Alien coke machine, the answer is yes.  Yes, they do.

So if you ever find yourself in the remote state of New Mexico and wonder what to do with yourself, stop by Roswell, and check out the International UFO Museum and Research Center.

But don’t expect to get good parking.

Have you ever visited Roswell New Mexico? Do you believe aliens crashed?
