Ruby Rocket’s Pops

I have a four-year-old who loves to snack.  She doesn’t eat whole meals as much as she eats a large quantity of small snacks throughout the whole day. I consider myself to be fairly particular about what I will allow her to eat, especially since kid’s snacks are frequently high in preservatives, food dyes, and artificial flavors.

When I happen to find a healthy family snack, that’s all-natural and my daughter loves, I almost squeal with delight!  So, when I learned about Ruby Rocket’s Veggie & Fruit Pops, I couldn’t wait to have her try them!

gmo freeRuby Rocket’s Veggie & Fruit Pops are a delicious, low-sugar and mostly organic veggie and fruit ice pop.  They contain only real foods (that a 6-year-old can prounounce), all of the ingredients are non-GMO and they’re full of “good-for-you” vitamins and nutrients.  They come in 8 yummy flavors, including:

  • Rock-It Red – contains strawberries, beets, carrots, bananas and sweet potatoes
  • Orbit Orange – sweet potato, strawberries, bananas, oranges and carrots
  • Galaxy Green – avocado, kiwi, green apple, bananas, and spinach
  • Gravity Grape – acai, concord grapes, purple sweet potato, sweet potato, and blueberries
  • Celestial Cherry – yumberry, tomato, beets, acerola cherries and pomegranite
  • Meteorite Mango – passion fruit, butternut squash, pineapple, sweet pototato and mango
  • Far Out Fudge – acai, bananas, beets, sweet potato, and cocoa
  • Planetary Pink Lemonade – strawberries, butternut squash, purple sweet potato, pomegranite, and goji berries

Ruby Rocket’s are GMO-free, dairy-free and gluten-free, and they’re also made with healthy probiotics.  For adults who want a healthy, low-calorie snack, these are great, because each pop has no more than 40 calories!  They’re made without artificial colors, flavors or preservatives (hugely important for my family!), and the sugar in the pops is naturally derived from fruits and veggies.

Actually, these pops have the least amount of naturally occuring sugar of any popsicle that you can buy at the store.  Pretty cool, eh?  (My daughter’s dentist will appreciate that!).

My daughter’s favorite flavor is the Far Out Fudge (naturally).  She ate her way through the whole box in less than two days, and I almost didn’t get this picture.  I had to actually hide the last pop from her 🙂

My favorite flavor is Gravity Grape, although the Meteorite Mango is a very close second!

We are seriously in love with Ruby Rocket’s Veggie & Fruit Pops, and will be keeping these in stock on a regular basis!   These retail for $4.99 for a box of 6 (roughly the same price as a piece of fruit!) and can be found at 3,200 stores nationwide.  If you want to get more info on where to find them, follow Ruby Rocket’s on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram!

I agree with Susan. I love the names! My kids are big fans of other blended fruit/veggie snacks but I haven’t seen these yet. I’m definitely looking for them next time I go to the store. The weather is perfect for popsicles and I’m glad to have a healthier version to offer them.

What fun flavor names to go with these healthier snacks! I’m with your daughter and I’d be a Far Out Fudge fan, too.
