I am a busy, working mom, and one of my keys to survival is to stay organized while shopping. I do my weekly grocery shopping on the weekends, and with the assistance of Walmart Family Mobile Plus, I have perfected grocery shopping. I want to share with you some secrets that I have acquired over the years, that will streamline your shopping experience and help you stay organized in the process!
Stay Organized While Shopping
Step 1: Make a Grocery List
Making a grocery list is the first step to stay organized while shopping. Before you head to the store, make a meal plan for the week, and jot down the food ingredients and any household staples you need to pick up. If you go to the app store on your phone, you can usually find a variety of free shopping list apps that you can use to store your list. Most of the apps allow you to organize your grocery list by aisles, so you make sure you grab what you need, while you’re on that isle.
Using a grocery list ensures that you don’t forget anything you need, and it also helps you save money! By staying focused on what you need, you’re less likely to make impulsive purchases.
Step 2: Grab your Bank App
Most banks have apps available for download. With Walmart Family Mobile PLUS, I have access to unlimited Talk, Text & Data up to 10GB of 4G LTE. This allows me to login to my bank account while I am shopping. I can check my balances, transfer money, and even deposit checks remotely.
Step 3: Check your Beauty Products with Skin Deep
Buying products that are the best for my family is important to me, so I downloaded the Skin Deep app on my phone. It has a barcode on it, that allows me to scan products at the store, and will give me the product rating. This allows me to make informed decisions about my purchases, while I am at the store.
Step 4: Unload Groceries in Groups
When you go to check out, try to place your groceries on the conveyor belt in groups. Place produce together at the front, followed by frozen foods, dairy, raw meats, pantry items, and finally household items.
When you get home, you can grab the bags with refrigerated items, and unload those first. I have also found that reusable bags hold a tremendous amount more than plastic bags, which makes transporting them a lot easier. Plus, you’re doing a great thing for the environment 🙂
Step 5: Having the Right Tools for the Job
If you are looking for reliability, great value and key features in a cell phone provider, you need to check out Walmart Family Mobile PLUS. This plan features Unlimited Talk, Text & Data up to 10GB of 4G LTE, and a free movie on VUDU ($7 value) every month, per line!
This great bundle is only $49.88 per month!
I purchased the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime phone from Walmart (only $79.92 on rollback!), and have been blown away with how great this phone performs. I have paid $500 for a phone of comparable value.

Step 6: Relax and Watch a Movie on VUDU
With Walmart Family Mobile PLUS, you get a free movie on VUDU each month! I love watching movies with my kids, but I am reserving this perk for me! After the kids are asleep, I open up VUDU on my laptop, and watch a movie that I want to watch.
Moms give so much of their time to their kids, they deserve to have a break, and a little “me time”!
