About a month ago, I got to try out KidBox | Subscription Boxes for Kids Clothing. I shared pics of the high-quality clothing that I got for my 1-year-old son. This week, I got my shipment for my 6-year-old daughter’s KidBox, and I want to share the goodies we got in her subscription box for girls clothing!
I’ve come to the point where I am willing to spend a little more money to buy higher quality clothing. I want clothes to last for a long time, or at least until my children grow out of them. I’m also able to pass along the clothing my children outgrow, to other friends and family members that have younger children. It saves them money, and the clothes get reused.
As I am a single mom though, I am on a budget. I cannot afford to be frivolous with my money, so I try to buy high-quality clothes that are deeply discounted. When a friend of mine suggested that I try out KidBox, I was eager to check it out. I paid $99 for my son’s Kid Box, that contained $263 worth of high-quality clothing in it. I got an even better deal on my daughter’s box!
Subscription Box for Girls Clothing
Here is what was in my daughter’s subscription box for girls clothing:
- 1 Lucky Girls Long Sleeve Pullover Sweater (Retail price: $40).
- A Limited Too | 2 pack knit pants (Retail price: $32).
- 1 Limited Too Love Sweatshirt (Retail price: $32).
- A Design History Long Sleeve Striped Hoodie (Retail price: $45).
- 1 U.S. Polo Assn. Skinny Fit Pant (Retail price: $38).
- A U.S. Polo Assn. 2 Piece Legging and Top Set (Retail price: $35).
- 1 U.S. Polo Assn. Woven Dress with Ribbon Belt (Retail price: $26).
In total, we received $248 worth of high quality clothing in my subscription box for girls clothing. The best part is, I paid $0 for it.
Yep, it was all free! I did receive a discount for sharing this post on my blog, but I also had so many referrals sharing about my son’s KidBox, that the rest of the box was free!
Get $25 Off | Give $25 Off
KidBox has an amazing referral program, where when I refer someone, they get $25 off their first purchase, and I get $25 for referring them. $25 for a friend, and $25 for you! And all you have to do is try out KidBox, get high-quality, deeply discounted clothing for your kids, and tell your friends about it. (Be sure to read their referral program terms and conditions for more details.)
In addition to getting this box for free, I have actually already earned $92 towards my next subscription box for girls clothing, which is pretty awesome!
What I Thought
I had the option of returning the whole box (for a small restocking fee), buying individual pieces of the selection for discounted prices, or buying the whole box for $99. Let’s do some math: with 9 pieces of clothing for $99, that came to be $11 per article, which is a great price for high-quality, long-lasting clothing. I saved 100% off retail and the shipping was free.
This box also came with a few wrapped toys, nested inside a ball, which my daughter happily unwrapped.
I am thrilled with our first subscription box for girls clothing, and can’t wait to find out what we get in our next box. The boxes are seasonal, and I get advance notice to opt-out if I decide we don’t need any clothes for a particular season.
