Exfoliating Lip Scrub
This exfoliating lip scrub recipe is so simple to make at home!
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon honey
Instructions
-
Combine the two ingredients listed above. Once mixed well, use your finger and rub it into your lips. Gently scrub it in and leave it set for several minutes. Once done, wipe off gently and apply a nice lip balm.
How it works:
This lip scrub is just that simple. The two ingredients make a powerful and gentle combination.
- The honey is what makes it sticky enough to hold the sugar so that it applies to your lips. You can use coconut oil or something like that if you want, but the honey is great because it’s tackier and a little bit more sticky.
- The sugar is what is used to gently scrub your lips in a way that won’t hurt at all.
How often should you exfoliate your lips?
Just like everything in life, moderation is going to be key. Exfoliating your lips 1-3 times per week is a good basis to use. If you do it more than that, just be careful as doing it too much could cause your lips to dry out.

how long these scrub lasts?? can you use thses recipes for selling ??
Andrea Vaughan says
This scrub should last about a week or two, if it’s in a clean jar and you have clean hands while handling it. I don’t think this would be good for selling, since there are no natural preservatives in it.
