Invisible Braces {Candid Co Month 3 Update!}

I know there are not a lot of REAL reviews from people who have used Candid Co, so I wanted to give you an update on my invisible braces experience! I am 3 months in, and here are how things are going!

Just to be completely transparent – Candid Co did NOT pay me or provide free aligners for this review. I purchased my aligners and am reviewing my experience so you can have an unbiased opinion on what to expect when using this product.

So, first, let me say how weird I feel posting a giant picture of my face here. I’m a little conscientious and an introvert by nature, so selfies have always felt uncomfortable to me.

But, I have gotten enough emails over the last two months to understand that people who are looking for Candid Co Reviews want to see actual pictures of the progress. In light of that, I am pushing aside my insecurities to post super big pictures of my face and teeth. #MYJOBISWEIRD

Candid Co Invisible Braces – Month 3 Update

I am on my 7th Candid Co aligner, and about 3 and a half months in.

I have gotten quite a few emails and comments from my last two posts from people curious about Candid Co. Which I TOTALLY get. It’s expensive, it’s involves your face, you want to make sure you’re investing in something that will:

• Straighten Your Teeth
• Not Cost you a Fortune
• Not F*** up your Teeth

These are all the same concerns I had before I ordered my impression kit. There was a LOT of anxiety involved. It took me 6+ months to stew on the idea before I finally did it.

But I did order the impression kit, in spite of a lack of personal (non-paid) testimonies online. And I am so, so, so, so happy I did.

Teeth Alignment

My teeth have crowding issues. My biggest motivation for buying invisible braces was that one of my front teeth overlapped the second front teeth.

It may not look like a big issue in photographs, but (as weird as this sounds) I could constantly feel the overlap of my two teeth with my tongue. It has bothered me, on a daily basis, for at least the last 20 years.

I just wanted my two front teeth to be in alignment. And straight.

I was finally brave enough to order the impression kit, then the aligners. Here is a picture from my update during the first month.

You can tell that my teeth are whiter (thanks to the whitening foam that Candid Co provides in your kit), but you can also start seeing spaces between my teeth, that were never visible before.

Here are my teeth 3 months (and 7 aligners) into wearing invisible braces for teeth.

So a few notes –

• My teeth are almost exactly straight!!
• My teeth have clear space between them – like, I can differentiate between each tooth – they don’t all run together.
• They’re whiter (thanks to the whitening foam)
• I no longer feel insecure smiling (with teeth) for photographs (YAY!!)

Another benefit for  people who have crowded teeth: flossing is easier! I used to have a really hard time getting floss in between my teeth.  Seriously, floss used to break!  Now, floss moves easily between all of my teeth, and I expect my dentist to be proud of my oral hygiene.

As I mentioned, I have had quite a few questions over the past 2 months about Candid Co, so I want to share those questions and answers with you!

How Long After You Ordered Your Candid Co Aligners Before They Were Shipped?

My aligners shipped 14 days after I ordered them, and I think I received them 3 days after that. So, 17 days total.

Is Candid Co a Legitimate Company?  

Short answer – YES! They are definitely legitimate!

And I totally understand the question. I was really apprehensive before I ordered my kit – it took me several months to talk myself into it. 

I have not had any issues getting in contact with their support.  When my aligners were shipped, I got a link to sign up for a one-on-one video call with a Candid expert, that explained everything I needed to know about the experience. 

Does Candid Co. Take Insurance

As far as insurance goes, I filled out the information, but haven’t heard anything yet. This youtuber did a long review of teeth aligners at home, and mentions that the average time to process insurance claims is 6 months.

If you decide to order them, I would be prepared to set up a payment plan and cover those payments for at least that long.*  

Is there a Discount Code for Candid Co Impression Kit

If all goes well with the impression kit, Candid Co is still one of the cheapest invisible braces option, so you’ll be getting teeth straightening at 1/3rd of the cost of braces.

How is it Going After 3 Months?

Short answer – great! I feel like this is the best option for invisible braces for adults.

I was extremely apprehensive going into this experience, especially given the lack of online (unpaid) reviews that were available. Dropping $1900 on a product blindly is scary, right?*

But I am so happy I did. My teeth are almost completely straight. I can smile without feeling insecure. I’m able to floss my teeth easily, and maintain the health of my teeth, now that they’re not over-crowded.

I am only 3 months into treatment, and I am already 1000% satisfied with my treatment.

To be clear – my teeth will still get straighter over the next 2.5 months, but I would be satisfied with the results from the first half.

I’ll keep swapping my aligners for the next couple months and update you on how things are progressing. I can’t wait to show off my six month smile!
