Mixed Berry Yogurt Pops
The popsicles you buy from the freezer aisle contain loads of artificial sweeteners and food dyes. They’re also super convenient and cheap, making them the perfect thing for a tired, hot, and frustrated mother to give her children. So is there any way we can appease our children without buying foods with dyes in them or emptying our wallets? Of course!
If you’re looking for a sweet summer treat that your kids can enjoy and that doesn’t contain processed or artificial ingredients, look no further. These mixed berry yogurt pops are a simple, yet delicious way to beat the heat this summer. Using only 4 basic ingredients, they’re a treat that you can feel good about giving to your children!
So what are those four ingredients? Blueberries, strawberries, plain yogurt, and honey. Yep, that’s it! If you can get the berries on sale, bonus points for you. I like to make my own yogurt, but store-bought works just fine. As for the honey, you can sub in any other sweetener you would like—from sugar, to maple syrup, to agave nectar.
The recipe makes about 2 cups of yogurt mix, so how many berry yogurt pops you’ll get out of it depends on how many whole berries you add, and how much your popsicle containers can hold. I’ve had my popsicle mold for years, but I also have these molds and they work great as well. Any kind of popsicle mold will do, but different molds hold different amounts of liquid, so you might not get 16 popsicles out of the recipe.
If you ever have a hard time getting the pops out of the molds, simply run the outside of the mold under warm water until the yogurt pop has loosened. Easy peasy!

I love making homemade popsicles when I have time. You know exactly what you are putting in them.
