How to Make a Scoby Hotel

Ingredients

  • Clean glass container
  • Scobies
  • 1 cup prepared kombucha
  • 3 cups freshly prepared sweet tea
  • coffee filter
  • rubber band

Instructions

  1. Add scobies to a clean, glass container.
  2. Add in 1 cup prepared kombucha and 3 cups freshly prepared sweet tea (room temperature).
  3. Cover container with two coffee filters and secure with a rubber band. Place in a dark, warm, and dry place (such as a pantry) and store until ready to use scobies.
  4. Replace liquid with fresh kombucha and tea every two weeks.
