Cherry Bomb Drink {The Perfect Summer Cocktail}

  • 4 fresh cherries halved and pitted
  • 1/4 lemon
  • 1/4 lime
  • 5 - 6 mint leaves
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • 2 ounces dark rum
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters


  1. Add cherries, lemon, lime, mint leaves, and simple syrup to a sturdy glass. Use a muddler or the handle of a wooden spoon to muddle the ingredients together.
  2. Transfer liquid to a shaker filled with ice. Add in rum and bitters, shaking to combine and cool. Strain into a glass filled with ice and garnish with mint leaves.
