I remember when Pinterest was brand new, and I was obsessed with making every appetizer it had to offer. One of the first things I made was a baked brie, nested inside a puff pastry – and oooh my, it was delicious.
I have been craving brie lately, and wanted to do a different variation of baked brie. I had the idea to pair sweet and savory flavors with the rich and creamy brie. The result?
Peach, Basil and Bacon Baked Brie.
It’s a gorgeous and harmonious combination, and is literally the best thing I have made this month (and I cook a lot!). When this bacon baked brie is paired with GOOD THiNS, magical things happen.
I’m so excited to share this delicious appetizer with you, especially as we’re heading into Football season!

Peach, Basil and Bacon Baked Brie
To make the Peach, Basil and Bacon Baked Brie, you only need 4 ingredients:
- An 8 ounce Brie round
- 1/4 cup peach jam
- 3 – 4 fresh basil leaves, cut into thin strips
- 2 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
Start by scraping off the rind from the top of the wheel using a vegetable peeler or a knife.
Use a spoon to remove about a spoonful of the brie, leaving a shallow space:
Fill the space with 1/8 – 1/4 cup of peach jam.
This beauty goes into a 400 degree oven for 10 – 15 minutes, then it gets topped with crumbled bacon and thin strips of fresh basil:
The Perfect Pairing
The perfect companion for this Peach, Basil and Bacon Baked Brie is GOOD THiNS.
The reason GOOD THiNS are my go-to snack, is because GOOD THiNS start with real ingredients (like wheat, potato and rice), then they add in enticing flavors (like garlic, spinach and sweet potato) and they get baked thin and crispy. They’re always made without any artificial flavors, colors, cholesterol, partially hydrogenated oils or high fructose corn syrup.
As a label-reader and health conscious consumer, I always prefer to buy real life snacks that are baked with real ingredients.
My favorite flavors of GOOD THiNS to pair with this Peach, Basil and Bacon Baked Brie are:
- GOOD THiNS- The Beet One- Balsamic Vinegar & Sea Salt
- GOOD THiNS- The Wheat One- Ancient Grains
- GOOD THiNS- The Potato One- Sweet Potato
GOOD THiNS – The Beet One – is probably my favorite. It’s flavored with balsamic vinegar and sea salt, and has a gorgeous color. The Wheat One is my son’s favorite variety – made with age-old grains like quinoa, amaranth & millet. The Potato One is made with sweet potatoes, and is perfect for packing in my daughter’s lunch.
Whichever GOOD THiNS you choose, it’ll go perfect with your Bacon Baked Brie!
